Hailey DeCicco earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Public Policy, equipping her with a strong foundation in leadership, strategic planning, organizational development, and public policy initiatives that strengthen communities. Her educational background, combined with her passion for serving others, has shaped her commitment to improving the lives of children, families, and individuals through advocacy, collaboration, and community-based support. With a unique blend of expertise in community well-being, crisis intervention, and systems navigation, Hailey approaches every opportunity with compassion, professionalism, and a solutions-focused mindset.
Currently serving as the Program Director for Housing at Family of Woodstock, Hailey oversees initiatives that help individuals and families secure safe, stable housing throughout Ulster County. Her work focuses on reducing barriers to housing, connecting community members with essential resources, and developing sustainable pathways toward long-term stability. Through collaboration with community partners, service providers, and local organizations, she works to ensure vulnerable populations have access to the support they need to thrive.
Hailey's extensive knowledge of the local community enhances her ability to identify needs, build meaningful partnerships, and advocate for resources that create lasting, positive change. Her experience in crisis intervention allows her to remain calm and effective during challenging situations, providing immediate support while helping individuals and families navigate difficult circumstances with dignity and hope. She is passionate about empowering others through education, advocacy, and person-centered support, believing that resilience is built by recognizing individual strengths and fostering self-determination. Through every role she serves, Hailey remains committed to strengthening families, expanding access to services, and helping create healthier, more resilient communities for future generations.
Executive Director/Founder
Jennifer Peterson is a Licensed Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and resilience-building. Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked extensively with at-risk youth, families, first responders, and individuals experiencing mental health crises, earning a reputation for compassionate leadership, clinical excellence, and unwavering advocacy.
Jennifer currently serves as the Mental Health Response Specialist for the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, where she partners with law enforcement to provide crisis intervention, suicide prevention, de-escalation, and mental health support for individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies. Her collaborative approach helps connect vulnerable community members with appropriate services while reducing barriers to care.
In addition, Jennifer serves as the Resiliency Officer for the Rifton Fire Department, supporting first responders through peer support initiatives, critical incident stress management, emergency preparedness, disaster response, and crisis management.
Over the course of her career, Jennifer has demonstrated exceptional skill in clinical assessment, crisis response, case management, advocacy, and program development. She has built strong partnerships across schools, law enforcement, emergency services, healthcare organizations, and community agencies throughout Ulster County to improve access to mental health resources and strengthen systems of care.
